Description

A simple, authentic jam capturing the freshness of summer strawberries. Easy to make with just three ingredients, this recipe preserves the flavor of ripe strawberries in a smooth, aromatic preserve perfect for toast, yogurt, or desserts.


Ingredients

1 kg strawberries, freshly ripe
700 g to 1 kg granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
1 to 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Strawberry caps removed


Instructions

Wash strawberries under cold water, remove stems, and pat dry.
Cut large strawberries in half; smaller ones may remain whole.
Place in a wide, shallow pot.
Add sugar and stir gently.
Add lemon juice and mix糅合.
Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, then increase heat to thick juncture (20-45 minutes). Stir constantly to avoid burning.
Test for readiness: jam should coat a cold spoon and ripple slightly when tilted.
Pour into sterilized jars, sealing while still hot.

Notes

Adjust sugar based on strawberry ripeness and sweetness.
Use a wide pot for even cooking.
Sterilize jars in boiling water for 10 minutes before filling.
